From the World of John Wick: Ballerina

An action thriller set within the John Wick universe, directed by Len Wiseman and starring Ana de Armas as Eve Macarro, a ballerina-assassin trained by the Ruska Roma. The film follows Eve's quest for vengeance after her father's death, unfolding between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and Chapter 4.

HAIFA STREET & QARAGH - I’M MIGRANT PRESENTS

“I’m Migrant: Presents” is a regular programme of screenings celebrating film from the SWANA Region, platforming emerging talent alongside established filmmakers.

This event includes a screening of Azerbaijani director Suad Gara’s short drama “Qaragh” (Wake Up), followed by the UK Premiere of Mohanad Hayal’s debut feature “Haifa Street”. The evening concludes with a panel discussion.



Synopsis:
Haifa Street - Baghdad in 2006 is ravaged by sectarian violence. Haifa Street is the epicenter of the conflict. Ahmed gets dropped off there by a taxi on his way to his beloved Suad's home to ask for her hand for marriage, he gets shot by Salam, a sniper who's living his own personal hell on a rooftop above. Qaragh - An ex-soldier suffering from PTSD decides to visit his mother in his remote home village to find peace of mind. There, he participates in a mystical spring cleansing ritual set around a temple inside a 13th-century cemetery in the middle of the forest, where he encounters a mysterious little girl. His innocent alter-ego brings him face to face with his inner demons and sets him on a difficult path to acceptance and redemption. (19 minutes)

A live-action adaptation of DreamWorks Animation's beloved 2010 animated film, directed by Dean DeBlois, who also helmed the original trilogy. Set on the rugged isle of Berk, the story follows Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III (Mason Thames), an inventive yet overlooked Viking teenager. In a society where dragons are feared and hunted, Hiccup defies tradition by befriending Toothless, a rare Night Fury dragon. The Ballad of Wallis Island

Charles (Tim Key), an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island and dreams of getting his favorite musicians, McGwyer Mortimer (Tom Basden & Carey Mulligan) back together. His fantasy turns into reality when the bandmates and former lovers accept his invitation to play a private show at his home on Wallis Island.
