WORM + Q&A

Running time: 85 mins

WORM comes to Genesis Cinema.

The roadshow continues with a special screening at Genesis.

Written and directed by Ned Caderni, Worm is a slow-burn psychological folk horror set over the course of a weekend in a remote Welsh country house, where a couple’s anniversary is unsettled by a series of emails sent from the account of a deceased ex-boyfriend. Quiet, atmospheric, and deeply unsettling, the film explores grief, memory, and the persistence of the digital afterlife.

The screening will feature a short introduction, followed by a Q&A with director Ned Caderni, actors Freddie Acaster and Joshua Dowden, and Director of Photography Edward Glynne Jones, hosted by Claire Harrison of Category H Film Club.

“One of the most refreshing debuts in British arthouse cinema in recent memory.” - High On Films

“Worm could become a perpetual attraction.” - Cinema Year Zero

“A stylised and thematically rich feature.” - Culture Film Publication

Join us for the third stop on the Worm roadshow.

Please note: The film features sequences including strobe lighting.

Q&A

Scary Movie

Running time: 96 mins

Twenty-six years after outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer ("GhostFace"), the Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe. Marlon Wayans ("Shorty"), Shawn Wayans ("Ray"), Anna Faris ("Cindy"), and Regina Hall ("Brenda") reunite in Scary Movie alongside returning favourites and fresh faces to slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t final. Nothing is sacred. No trope survives. Every line gets crossed. The Wayans are back to cancel the Cancel Culture.
