“Fragments of Home” unites two intimate Palestinian films that explore the meaning of home, memory and motherhood amid displacement and conflict. Through the eyes of mothers and children, we see how memory can be both refuge and burden, how the camera becomes a vessel for grief and for hope. These works invite us to reflect on what remains when the walls of home are no longer steady - what fragments of tenderness and resistance we carry with us wherever we go.

While the Israeli army retaliates against the Second Intifada in the West Bank in the early 2000s, a mother films her family's daily life, punctuated by time spent shielding her family from harm in the basement. Now, her son revisits this past, delivering a heart-breaking portrait of the anguish of parents who are forced to choose between their children’s physical safety and the emotional upheaval of leaving home.

A Palestinian mother-to-be in the Netherlands grapples with emotional and physical challenges during pregnancy. Far-right and nationalist politics are on the rise. Immigrants and minorities are being scapegoated like they were in the 1930s.
Tower Hamlets has a rich tradition of opposing racism and intolerance, from the Battle of Cable Street in 1936, to more recent community opposition to far-right extremism.
This season presents different cinematic representations of how bigotry can play out in society.

CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. CatVideoFest is a joyous communal experience, only available in theaters, and raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area.

Trade Secret follows three unlikely allies on a mission to protect polar bears from international commercial trade. Filmed over six years across nine countries, the film exposes the sanctioned sale of hundreds of polar bears each year on the global market. But as the investigation deepens, it uncovers a disturbing truth: those entrusted with safeguarding the species may be entangled in their continued commercialisation. The film raises urgent questions about how we protect vulnerable species in a world where the lines between protection and exploitation have become blurred. Followed by an in person Q&A with director Abraham Joffe.

Passenger Cinema joins the nationwide celebration of 100 years of community cinema! The Festival of Community Cinema is showcasing the inspirational and innovative programming of volunteer-led cinemas over the past 100 years. We’re proud to present the new Cinema For All produced documentary Rebels with Projectors followed by Giuseppe Tornatore’s Oscar-winning masterpiece, Cinema Paradiso, to mark this special milestone.

The Genesis Poetry Slam is London’s only three-round poetry slam. The night is friendly, fresh, and the BARGAIN price of £1!

This is the grand final and best of the best for this year. There will be laughter, there might be tears, there will definitely be rhymes and rhythms. Our house crew will also be doing some short sets of their very best poetry, for your delectation.

Sam, a young film student, discovers a USB detailing the life and career of forgotten Italian horror director Saturnino Barresi. As she begins to investigate his mysterious disappearance, Sam finds herself pulled into a violent conspiracy eerily similar to those of the films she adores.

's alt-rock masterpieces Monster (1994) and New Adventures in Hi-Fi (1996). In this sublime comedy teetering between reality and illusion, Buster Keaton stars as a film projectionist who dreams of becoming a detective. He uses his limited skills when he is framed by a rival for stealing his girlfriend’s father’s pocket watch.
